The White Rock is one of the most impressive rock phenomena in the Eastern Rhodopes.
The Legend
The legend tells of a princess who was turned to stone to save her tribe from invaders.
The sculptures on the rock were her face and hands, frozen forever in stone. They say that during a full moon, the rock glows with a pale light – the spirit of the princess guarding her people.
