Harman Kaya
Harman Kaya is located between Tatul and Perperikon. The cult complex began functioning about 6,000 years ago.
The Legend
It is assumed there was a connection between Harman Kaya and the Sanctuary of Orpheus at Tatul village – both began functioning at the same time.
Near the sanctuary, you will see a rock resembling a human palm with 13 niches carved into it, and in front of them a round-shaped altar.
Locals believe the niches served as messages from the gods – each one hiding a different prophecy.
